Hempter’s Hemp Loaf

*Dehydrated Tommy Boy Veggie Mix ground in a coffee grinder makes a delicious seasoning blend!


1 1/2 CupsLong Grain Brown Rice, Prepared as Usual 
1Medium Carrot, Chopped 
1Small Onion, Minced 
1 StalkCelery, Chopped 
2 ClovesGarlic, Minced 
1 TablespoonFresh Ground Black Pepper 
1/2 teaspoonSea Salt 
2 TablespoonDried Italian Seasoning Blend or Ground Tommy Veggie Mix* 
1/2 CupUnprocessed Red Palm Oil 
1 1/2 CupsHemp Soft Centers 
1/4 - 1/2 CupUnsulphured Molasses 


  1. Make the rice as usual and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 325°F
  3. Grease an 8 inch loaf pan.
  4. In a blender, combine the carrot, onion, celery, garlic, egg, pepper, salt, seasoning and oil.
  5. Blend until smooth.
  6. In a medium bowl, stir together the soft centers, rice and blender mixture.
  7. Spoon into loaf pan, spreading to the edges & flattening the top.
  8. Carefully spread the molasses over the top.
  9. Bake for 1 hour.
  10. Allow to rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
